COVID-19 Festival Update

Dear Patrons,

The Wasatch Mountain Arts Board of Directors and Festival Team have been closely monitoring the developing COVID-19 virus situation. After consulting public officials, our community and key stakeholders, our Board of Directors have voted to postpone the Wasatch Mountain Film Festival from the original scheduled dates of March 30–April 4, to September 21-26, 2020.

This is not a decision that we take lightly. We know that many of you have already purchased tickets and passes to the festival. As we have already worked with our venue to secure the new dates of September 21-26, 2020 we are honoring all tickets, passes, and vouchers for the new festival dates. We understand that for some of you these dates may not work. That is why we are offering attendees the option to submit a voucher request that would allow you to utilize your ticket or pass at the 2021 festival.

As many of our patrons know, the Wasatch Mountain Film Festival is a nonprofit event that is run entirely by volunteers. Situations like these can and have had a devastating impact on organizations like ourselves. While it is unfortunate to have to move the festival, there is no other option at this time that will maintain the health and safety of our team, attendees, partners, sponsors, organization and the general public.

In these instances there is no ideal scenario forward. However, we appreciate your understanding of the reasons for this decision and thank you for your continued support.

We are excited to see you in September at the 6th Annual Wasatch Mountain Film Festival.

Respectfully,

Stuart Derman
