FILMMAKER
Jack Hessler is an award winning editor living in Salt Lake City, Utah. A majority of his work is in the unscripted sports space, but he’s spanned the worlds of commercials, branded content and independent films for companies and networks like TDE, YouTube Originals, White Claw, Red Bull, The North Face and more. In 2023 he was invited to be an editor at the Sundance Directors Lab, and in 2024 he was the lead editor on the National Geographic series "The Crux".
His work has earned awards at festivals like Mountainfilm, Rainbow Visions Film Festival, The MY HERO International Film Festival, Vimeo Staff Picks, and the Telly Awards.
Beyond documentaries, he writes and directs narrative films, is a semi-professional snowboarder, a music producer and DJ, and regularly volunteers with LGBTQ+ non-profits.
